Information Junkie

I want to know, any and everything, that's my goal in life but at this point in time the eyes have it. The eyes, bless them, that cause me to wile away each day and night with pictures and text that I hope will enlighten me to what is and has gone on in the world and increasingly through a pair of glasses. In most ways what is, isn't all that thrilling, as Soloman stated, "There is nothing new under the sun" well maybe except for the next couple weeks that will see history brighten up a bit. Anyway, I love the history of mankind, alien kind, earth kind etc. so I read a book at least once a month which I find these days are costing what I used to pay for a weeks groceries! Good grief Charlie Brown, $30 bucks for a book? Maybe I used the book section in the Goodwill too much to know what they really cost but I saw The Kindle and fell in love!!

Yes the Kindle is expensive but it's the best thing I could find to spend my Government money on. Ok, the incentive check Bush sent me to invigorate the economy. So in reality its free and 12 books a yeat at $30 is $360 so that takes care of the Kindle plus Oprah got us $50 bucks off. The Kindle was cheaper in the end for me. Now I can read and download without the PC which where I live will be a feat comprable to Jason and the Argonauts quest. And the weight of carrying around one of those hardback books and highlighter is totally unnecessary now. So off to Kindle land and years of books that will make me the best informed person in my house.

So I live alone, so what?

Havent we had enough stupidity?

Hey look kids, we have just completed 8 years of a double digit I.Q. C average included and look where we are. I dont know about you but another 4 years of it is beyond the belief of wanting a new deal in America but hiring the same salesman.

This campaigning duo is providing satirist the most fertile playing field in decades. It isn't much different than the past ruling intimation's like, Nixon was ugly and that to me was worse than lying to the Nation. Hell they all lie.

Then we had one that slipped in there on Nazi linage (and their worried about Obama?)and the drug trade took of like a Chinese rocket, a preacher that hardly looked like he should have even been considered, an ex cowboy that decided the fate of the nation on where his stars were that day, a playboy with a broken zipper and this present conglomeration of made for TV jokers, and the American public is too caught up in the red white and blue to see this next one could live 3 hours after being sworn in and the idiot that would take his place could grin wink us into the 3rd world war.

No one is talking about her forcing law abiding men from their jobs because he wouldn't do what she wanted which is named vengence, nobody is talking about her husband that wants to get the hell outa the USA. No one yet have I heard say she is a classy lady 'cause you cant get class outa trailer park, I don't care how hard you try. But hey, what do I know?

Are we all broke together yet?

Here we go again. What's that line, those who ignore their history are condemned to repeat it, so didn't we go through this in the Depression? When it said the love of money is the root of all evil, they weren't just whistlin' Dixie.

The only way I think poor people know it's a depression is, the Big Wigs start killing themselves. It's our only clinical assessment of the situation and this time he not only killed himself, the greedy SOB killed his family too(you know it wasn't us). The stock markets have met their Waterloo, the criminals have slithered from under their golden rocks and the world has gone into shock as the Brokers run crying, "The sky is falling, the sky is falling", let's go to the spa.

Now it could be in the backwoods of Mississippi, or somewhere in East LA, maybe a kid is reading the paper and questions his Mother asking, "Mom whats a depression?" and as she stirs a large pot beans for her family of 8 answers.............."I dont know".

Is Palin going to forget?

I watched the debate with Biden and Palin just as everyone did and though she seemed to get through it, I had the feeling she was JUST, getting through it. A bit too happy, like the bubbly office worked that greets you all smiles and cheeriness after you barely make it to work with a hangover and you'd like to choke her, a bit too quick with the answers which always didnt make a lot of sense in regards to the question asked.

Somehow it seemed to me, they guided her to the stage, let her say Hi to Biden then stuck a plug in her butt and connected it to the wall. It was as test and she did pass according to a lot of people, but after cramming for the test, will she forget the answers like we did in school? Maybe not, but I cant see her flashing her teeth, winking and batting her eyelashes at the Korean Government to stop nuclear war. Maybe Id have more faith if she was old and ugly.

My first Blog, how 'bout that?

Yeah I guess Im caught up in this "express yourself" mode like mostly everybody else. I have opinions, and you know what they're like! Anyway, I will expound on theoretical laws of nature, the analysis of the Universe and ET, without knowing a darn thing about it because I feel if you can critique a movie you haven't seen, why not provide the answers of time itself, even if you cant tell it?

I think if the fatcats of Wall street get away with this game of "loose it all, they'll give it back to us, we should just close up the government and stay home as it doesnt look like the little guy, yep, you and me are going to come out of this unscathed. Ah the privileged few. It's getting harder and harder to explain to the children why they should go to school, join the Boy and Girl Scouts, attend Mass or get good grades because if you dont go to school society will feed you, and the Scouts will provide you with all the weird sex you can handle, and what the Scouts miss, the Priests will catch the overflow. You dont really have to get good grades or be intelligent to be President, and if you dont go to Mass and learn right from wrong nobody will really care as long as you make the privileged few richer. Besides,it's the way of the world.........................isn't it?
