I got an email from and old friend today with a poem about keeping in contact with old friends. I haven't heard from him but once in a year, so who needs the poem. I told him so and will probably never hear from him again. He was my first boyfriend when I was 12. He never quite understood why I broke it off but it was probably because he didn't follow through, like now.
I saw a video on self defense that sported a can of wasp spray being better than mace and I will agree with that because the average woman is too scared to move fast enough to get the spray on the guy before the guy gets her so being able to spray up to 20 ft with think, might do her some good. Me? I'll stick with my shotgun. I dont have to worry about missing with it.
Things are really bad right for jobs and houses. I have a kid with more letters behind her name than the name is itself and she is unemployed. That has to feel strange to her, she's had a job since she was 14 and she's a grandmother now.
I love Google Earth. Keeps people from lying about where they live and how they live. It's the best thing since Atlas Maps.
It's going to be 119 again today, and people are dying on the Arizona hiking trails. I think they must be tourist. Every summer the California people come and move in their summer homes here and start out in the morning of their first vacation day jogging, I suppose to keep in shape like they do in California and without water bottles, which I know you can do in California. But the next morning you never see them again. Maybe it's because it may be 99 at 7AM but its 115 an hour later........we have been hotter than Death Valley. Cracks me up.
