Remember that song back in the day, Freddies Dead? Such a sad song and now Michaels dead. And I dont think he planned on going just yet, there was that London thing.....
We all had thoughts and opinions about Michael but in the end, we watched a small boy rise in the annals of great performers in the world, the whole world people, to become the greatest of them. There are just a very few stars that are identified by an item, he was identified by a few. Dressed in black with his head down and his hand on his hat. Anytime you see a black hat tipped that way you will think of Michael. Or two sparkling socks and highwater pants. Michael. Frankenstien? Michael, because Thriller raised the bar on how music would be presented from that day on MSNTV and took the industry by storm. The music, choreography, showing the world we had tons of talented black dancers.
He kept raising the bar for the duration of his performing and we may have all thought 50 was a little old to come out and start cutting a rug again but Rolling Stones did it, why not Michael? Yeah, we tend to apply the same restrictions and shortcomings to others we have on our selves but the rules we live by are not those they, the entertainers live by. They drink, do drugs, sleep with little boys, don,t wear underwear and fall in love for 15 minutes with each other, gender optional. The cant live like us, they are talented, genius, full of a fire most cant fathom and that is as it should be. They are a little crazy, and I for one can speak to this, but husbands, wives, lovers everybody and everything takes a back seat to that stage.
We all watch Michael grow from a little boy to a big boy because there was no time in between to be a boy. No trips to the zoo, no rides on the ferris wheel, no baseball outside, just hit it from the chorus, again. And he probably thought, when he grew up he would have everything he ever wanted even if it was a new nose and a different color, and he did.
