WHEN REBELS RULED

Life in this century,in this country is becoming ridiculously stagnant. Since I was a kid in the 40's and 50's children are dull, boring brats that exist with no imagination, no discipline and only aware of life to the next technological invention that will blow out their eardrums with music plugged to their heads or an Iphone with fantastic apps. All power has been taken from their stupid parents that cant figure out not to make love to a vacuum cleaner hose and after reading the caution text on items bought, one loses all faith in the human brain if you cant decide if you should put cottage cheese in an oven or a refrigerator.

We are not to think anymore, not individually in any case. We are to all think the same, have the same values, believe in the same lie, trust what is shown us and told to us by the administrations that be without question. Hive minded they call it and I see it sorrowfully frequent. There is no such thing as having a patent for something that will save us energy, make our cars cost less to run. No cure can be patented that come from plants or mixtures created in a kitchen that really works. No, a cure is not an option, no money in that, nor is advancement into an oil-less future. There is no individual progress to be made here. No more rebels like Franklin, Tesla, Ford, Hughes to name a couple, or unsung heroes like the center line painter or the cup handle hanger inventor. If you have an idea keep it to yourself or be prepared to sell it to Uncle Sam.

You don't need a gun, guns just kill people, give them to the government, the city, the cops. The fact that the whole country was settled with guns blazing in the hands of cowboys and Indians and that romanticized along with bank robbers, Holiday mass murder and liquor smuggled into speakeasys is beside the point. You kid can't have a play gun and be Wild Bill Hickock like I was or have one drink then drive home. Nope, your kids will consume pounds of dope in their veins, nose and swallowed, but heaven forbid they get drunk like in the old days. If you're a rebel you are classified as a gang member or a runaway etc. James Dean couldn't get a leg up in this society now. But when the rebels ruled, America became the most powerful country in the world, with the most innovative, progress minded kick-ass builders of our world, better even than the Romans or Brits and got us here. But those days are gone forever.
